Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to invite you to the Second International Symposium on Green Chemistry for Environment and Health that will be held in Mykonos island, Greece, from September 27 to 29, 2010. This symposium comes as a continuation to the first symposium that was held in Munich, October 13-16, 2008. The symposium is organized by the Society of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety (SECOTOX) and the Department of Planning and Regional Development, University of Thessaly, in collaboration with the Department of Chemical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Hellenic Green Chemistry Network and the Non Governmental Organization INTEN- SYNERGY.

The main symposium goal is to bring scientists, professionals and researchers from various areas together, in order to present and discuss topics related to Green Chemistry for a better environment and a healthier life. The selected oral or poster presentations presented at the conference will be uploaded as full papers at the conference’s website that will be accessed by conference participants via password, while the abstracts will be published in a hard copy at the conference proceedings. Selected papers presented at the conference will be published in international scientific journals.

All scientists, professionals, researchers, environmentalists and policy makers involved or interested in the area of the conference are invited to present papers related to the conference topics. Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation. Authors are requested to submit abstracts by e-mail as a Word file attachment (*.doc) to the Symposium Secretariat, by June 1^st, 2010.
